Google Chrome Extension - Bookmarks Checker
Bookmarks Checker is an extension for Google Chrome. It is a tool that will check your bookmarks for duplicates and no longer valid bookmarks.
This is a very handy tool to have in your toolbox, especially if you are a regular user of the Chrome browser. If you are not familiar with the term "bookmark", here is the definition: a bookmark is a way to quickly and easily find and navigate to the sites that you visit and want to remember. You can add as many sites as you like, and they will all be added to the list of sites that you can find in the bookmark menu.
The extension will scan your bookmarks and will mark the ones that are no longer valid. You will then be able to find them in the menu and delete them from the list.
If you want to check the status of a single site, you can simply click on the status icon in the menu. It will open the site you want to check in a new tab.
